Tarrystone Players website We are a friendly awardwinning amateur stage company based in Cookham in Berkshire. We produce two or three main productions a year in our local venue, The Pinder Hall. Besides these, we also take part in many local events and village fetes and recently, our openair productions have gathered quite a following. The Tarrystone Players last production was Green Favours and for the first time in 43 years, The Tarrystone Players of Cookham have won the Maidenhead Drama Festival our last win being in 1965 The triumphant duo came away with 2 trophies Best Short Play & Class 1 Open First, to emerge as the overall winner of the Festival. The adjudicator commented afterwards that it was “the best performance of this particular play” he had ever seen.
